BATTEN - In Sioux City, Io., January 11, 1895, Sadie Mary Batten, of inflammation of the bowels, aged 23 years, at her home, 421 South Lafayette street.
The deceased had been ill but a week, and death came quite unexpectedly. She leaves a husband and two young children to mourn her untimely death. The funeral services will be held from the family residence Sunday at 2 p.m., and the interment will be made in Floyd cemetery.
