Barbara DuBois Callihan, 34, Sioux City, died March 17, 1996 at her home after a long illness.
Services will be at 3 p.m. March 20 at St. Thomas Episcopal Church with the Rev. W. Verdery Kerr officiating. Burial will be in Gracelenad Park Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the church. Larkin Northside Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Callihan, the former Barbara DuBois was born Aug. 17, 1961 in Moorhead, MN. She lived in Fargo, ND before moving to Bismarck, ND in 1971. She graduated from Bismarck High School in 1979 and attended Bismarck Junior College. She worked as a page in the North Dakota Assembly and handled promotions for benefit concerts around the United States for two years. She moved to Portland, OR and graduated from the Bradford School as a medical ssecretary in 1988. She married Donald Callihan. She moved to Sioux City in 1994.
Survivors include her father, James DuBois of Inverness, FL and her mother Margaret DuBois of Sioux City; a sister, Debbie Cochran and her husband John of Plymouth, MN and a brother Fred and his wife Nancy of Cleveland, OH.
A memorial has been established in her name for the Neighborhood Child Care program in care of St. Thomas Episcopal Church.
