Wayne Holder married Helen Wortman, November 1934. They have three children: Judy, born November 1938; Jim, born June 1944; and Jeriane, born February 1950.

Judy graduated from Sergeant Bluff High School in 1956. She joined the Women’s Army Corps in 1957 and was in the Army for three years. Judy married Calvin Rathel in September 1960. Calvin was in the United States Army stationed in Washington, DC. In 1968 they moved to Sioux City where Calvin works for Job Service of Iowa and Judy works for Soil Conservation Service in Sioux City. Their home is at 1226 South Royce, Sioux City.

Jim graduated from Sergeant Bluff High School in 1962. He worked several years for Old Home Bakery and then some years in California for a bakery. Jim married Ilene Krupske. They have one son, Jimmy W, Jr, born December 1969. Jim is in the carpet business, both sales and installing. He makes his home in Sterling Heights, Michigan.

Jeriane graduated from Sergeant Bluff High School in 1968. She married Robert Chedester and they have three children: Shawnda Kay, born September 1970; Robert Lee, born September 1973; and Bryan Jay, born October 1976. Jeriane and Bob parted ways and Jeriane is married to Russell Lethcoe, Jr. They live at Jefferson, South Dakota. Jeriane has her LPN license and is attending WIT to get a degree in Surgical Nursing. Russell is a mechanic and attending WIT to further his mechanic business.

Wayne and Helen still own the Old Wortman Homestead north of Sergeant Bluff. However after Wayne’s retirement form Zenith, they decided to buy a home at 205 McCook Lake in South Dakota.
