Terry Lou Fey was born December 11, 1946, at Correctionville, Iowa, to Henry Ardell and Helen Waunita Fey. He got his twelve years of education in the Correctionville Public Schools and graduated in 1965. He had a newspaper route through high school. After graduation he worked in Omaha, Nebraska, and in the fall of 1965 enlisted in the Air National Guard at Sergeant Bluff, Iowa.

He took his basic training at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas. After basic training he was sent to special weapons mechanic school at Lowry Air Force Base in Denver, Colorado. He was there six months. When he returned home, he was employed by Northwestern Bell Telephone Company. After a while, he decided to make the military his career, so he went back to the guards. He is still with them in November of 1983.

Terry has gone with the guard on maneuvers to various states and overseas. He spent time in Italy, Spain, Germany, and every year for two weeks he goes to Panama to help guard the canal. In 1968, he and his brother, Gary, went as a brother team to Phu Cat Air Force Base in Vietnam. He served one year there loading bombs on F-100 Super Sabres. He returned home in 1969.

On August 6, 1970, Terry married Marillis Johnson of Holstein, Iowa, at the Methodist Church in Holstein. No children were born to this union. This marriage didn’t last and June 22, 1977, he married Vicki Weinrich of Sioux City, Iowa. To this union two children were born: Christopher Robert, and Teri Lynn. Terry and family make their home in Sergeant Bluff, Iowa.

Terry’s hobbies are hunting and fishing and doing things with his family. Vicki works at a pizza parlour on Morningside Avenue in Sioux City and helps part time at the Sergeant Bluff School. Her hobbies are swimming and being a fine homemaker.
