Chris Jepson, son of Anton and Sena Jepson, was born in Denmark. He came to America, in 1886, at the age of nine. He farmed in Liberty Township all his life.

He married Anena Christensen, January 17, 1901, in Sioux City. They had four children: Eva, Anne, Edward, and Blanche. Eva died in infancy. Anne (Mrs. William Fuller Hansen) had one daughter, Bonnie (Mrs. David Beightol), four grandsons and four great grandchildren. Anne died January 1, 1978. William died March 11, 1956. Edward married Florence Cook. They had one son, Darrell, two grandsons, one granddaughter and one great grandson. Edward died October 23, 1980. Florence died March 5, 1983. Blanche (Mrs Fred Rundle) had one daughter, Wanda Lee (Mrs. Fred Housel) and two grandsons.

Chris Jepson died June 14, 1949, at his farm home. Anena Jepson died March 3, 1961.
