Raymond and Neva Ferry DuBois

Raymond DuBois was a veteran of World War I and an insurance man who worked for many companies as state or territory representative. He was a Mason and Shriner.

Neva Ferry Dubois was born on a farm south of Cushing and received her grade schooling in theold school house located in what is now the City Park. After graduation Neva attended Northwestern University at Evanston,m Illinois, graduating in 1920 with a Bachelor of Music degree.

Neva taught school in Mountain Iron, Minnesota; Sac City, Iowa; and Holstein, Iowa, before marriage in 1925 to Raymond DuBois.

One child was born to this marriage; Virginia DuBois Myers. She resides in Great Falls, Virginia.

Raymond DuBois passed away in 1980 and is buried in the Cushing cemetery.

Neva is apst president of the P E O and served for several years as a member of the National Council of the P E O. Neva is a 50 year member of Stella Chapter of Correctionville Order of Eastern Star. Neva now resides at Valley View Nursing Home in Correctionville.
