Ola Hill Diilley was born September 12, 1907 in Moorhead, Iowa. He was the second child born to Madison Russell and Delia (Mahoney) Dilley. Ola married Marguerite Coover, October 18, 1928, at Logan, Iowa. Marguerite was born October 31, 1909, in Marengo, Iowa, daughter of Mark Leroy and Florence (Streeby) Coover.

Ola and Marguerite moved to Woodbury County shortly after their marriage, living in Salix, Climbing Hill, Sergeant Bluff and Sioux City. Ola was a mechanic for the Department of Transportation of Iowa and Marguerite worked for Swift and Company.

Their children: Madison Leroy Dilley, born and died May 2, 1929, Darline Annabelle Dilley, born March 20, 1932 and Derald Ola Dilley, born April 15, 1933. Darline and Derald were born in Sioux City.

Ola died November 2, 1965 in Sioux City and is buried in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Marguerite married Vernon Bauerly (2) September 4, 1971 and died December 22, 1979, in Omaha, Nebraska. She is also buried in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Darline A Dilley married (1) Wilson A Slaughter, March 31, 1947 and (2) J M Rose, January 31, 1960. Darline and Wilson had the following children: Terry Wilson Slaughter, born May 18, 1948, Karen Ann Slaughter, born June 24, 1949 and Edgar Ola Slaughter, born September 3, 1953.

Terry W Slaughter married (1) JoAnn Skarnulis, August 31, 1968, and they have one child, Kimberly Ann Slaughter, born November 8, 1969. He married (2) Jill A Lorenger, October 8, 1983.

Karen Ann Slaughter married Douglas M Perrin, October 21, 1968, and they have one child, Shane Michael Perrin, born April 27, 1969 in Sioux City. They now live in Omaha, Nebraska.

Edgar Ola Slaughter married Iva Pearl Honeycutt, June 21, 1975, in Okinawa, Japan and they have one child, Jeremy Dalton Slaughton, born April 21, 1976, in Okinaway, Japan. Ed is in the US Army.

Derald Ola Dilley married (1) Delores Harrington and (2) Florence Harsha Lint, November 12, 1964. Derald and Florence have the following children: Jeffrey Allen Dilley, born June 9, 1964 in Sioux City, Iowa; Scott Ola Dilley, born July 10, 1968 in Billings, Montana; and Derran Dilley born and died November 22, 1969 in Sioux City, Iowa.
