Marion Coon: born December 27, 1833, in Wabash, Indiana. Died May 8, 1910. He lived in the Anthon, Iowa, area. His family came from Pennsylvania and earlier from Germany. Nothing is known about his wife. Seven chldren.

Perry: born February 6, 1857, in Sauk County, Springreen, Wisconsin. Died of age in Oto, Iowa. Married December 24, 1878 to Emma Long, born October 19, 1861, in Jasper County, Remington, Indiana. Died February 19, 1920. They farmed in the Anthon-Oto area. Twelve children. He married Pheobe Miller. Jeff born 1879, married, five children: Aaron born 1881, married, six children; Margaret, born 1883, married Tom Hayworth, one son; Florence, born 1886, married Carl Smith, eight children; Mary, born 1888, married Tom Hayworth, three children; Jenny, born 1893, married John Pierce, two children; Mable, born 1896, married Paul Beeson, two children; Iva, born 1900, married Ival Hayworth, four children; Jimmy, born 1903, died 1903; Albert, born 1906.

Perry Virgil: born July 27, 1891, in Rock Township, Anthon, Iowa. Died March 14, 1929. Married September 22, 1910, to Bessie Melvina Phillips, daughter of Hiram and Fannie Langston Phillips, born September 28, 1893. They farmed north of Oto. Three children.

V Wayne: born December 20, 1913. Married January 28, 1933 to Evelyn Anderson, daughter of Mark and Anna Dose Anderson. Two childen, Beverly married Oren Benton, six daughters.

Kenneth: born April 29, 1916. Married Gretchen Oldaker. Two daughters. Remarried in 1982. Carolyn married Otto Allenson, four children; Ellen married Marvin Drenfhan, two sons.

Opal Fern: born March 13, 1911, Grant Township, Iowa. Married June 9, 1930, to Paul George Hummel, son of Joseph and Alice Smith Hummel. They live west of Oto, six children. Phillip married Delores Baird, five chidlren: Janet married P David Goodrich, one son; Margie married Frank Ross, two sons; Paul R married LaDonna Lee, three chidlren. Randall married Jean Green, two sons; Ella June married Ray C Daily, two chidlren.
