Harry H Baumgardner and Lucetta (Eacret)
By Jeraldine BaumgardnerHarry H Baumgardner was born on Nov 25, 1888, in Moville, Iowa. We don’t know much about Harry for he died Sept 6, 1943. Most of Harry’s life is coming from his obituary and what his son can remember his mother telling him. The rest of the family is gone. Harry enlisted Feb 25, 1918, to serve in World War I. He served with the A.E.F. He was wounded in the Argonne battle, and May 18, 1919, was given an honorable discharge from Camp Dodge, Iowa. He married Lucetta (Eacret) born 16, 1904, died Dec 1973. They were married Sept 22, 1936, at South Sioux City, Nebr. Her mother was Loualla May (Morse). Her father was George Charles Eacret. Sept 18, 1941, Harry and Lucetta had a son, Clifford Donald Baumgardner. Harry and Lucetta were both members of the Assembly of God Church. Harry set pins for a living at the bowling alley in Sioux City, Iowa. Harry was 54 years old when he died. He died at home just before his son’s second birthday.
Lucetta remarried Frank Ford about 1946. Lucetta had a son, Elmer Ford. Frank had been a laborer in Sioux City, Iowa, but then was retired. Frank moved
