Meyer in Bloomfield Township

MEYER, SCHLIE, KOENIG

My great grandparents, John Carl and Elizabeth(Wille) Meyer lived in Bloomfield Township, Winneshiek County when the 1900 census was taken. Their oldest daughter, Minnie MEYER, married Christian SCHLIE in 1899 in Allamakee Ccounty. Christian was married previously to an Anna MOHS and had a daughter, Alma SCHLIE, who married Fred Henry KOENIG January 17, 1917 in Postville, IA.

I noticed that Christian SCHLIE was buried at the St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery in Postville, Allamakee County in 1908 with Anna MOHA.

Did German Lutherans go to Postville to attend the St Paul Lutheran Church while living in Bloomfield township, Winneshiek Co? Or, was there a German Lutheran Chruch in Bloomfield Township?

Is there a Plat map availabe for Bloomfield Township, farm #63 on the 1900 census? We were wondering if he rented this farm or owned it.

I am looking for information on the MEYER. SCHLIE and KOENIG families. I will be looking forward to from anyone who has any of this information.

Thank you.
