Hi,
I am an amateur historian from Norway. I noticed this memorial and wonder if he could be the son to John A. Tofte, Fag memorial id: 21303559. If so, I think Andrew emigrated from Fjelberg parish in Hordaland, Norway in 1883 and John with wife and a daughter in 1885. John´s real name (in Norway) was Johannes Andersen and he was married to Vibekke Johannesdtr. They had the sons Johannes, born 1862, emigrated in 1882, Engel Olai, b. 1868, emigrated in 1884, and the daughter Elsebe Katrina, b. 1871 and emigrated with her parents in 1885. Di you have any information that could tell if I am correct or mistaken.
