Greetings, I am looking for Henry Baumwart b abt 1830,ONT. who was the son of David & Julia (Mabee) Baumwart. I believe he was married to Amanda White and fathered 4 young men in Iowa. She is listed in the 1880 Iowa Census as the mother of Arthur, Burlin, Gideon W., and Grant Baumwart. I was told that Henry had returned to Ontario to visit his parents and died there. He had a brother named Gideon Baumwart also. Henry and Gideon became naturalized citizens in 1860 & 1858 respectively.

My great grandfather Gideon Winters Baumwart was probably named for his uncle. Does anyone know of a Amanda White b about 1834 in the area whose name is associated with Winters?
