Vik family from Valders

VIK, VICK OR MARKEGAARD

Looking for any information on Lars K. Vik and his brother, Knut K. Vik who emigrated from Valders, Norway to Decorah to live with cousins in 1900. Knut returned to Norway, but Lars went on to go to Luther College to study pharmacy and became a druggist. He owned and ran drugstores in Yankton, SD; Grace City, ND; and finally Hankinson, ND. Lars and Knut's father was Knut Vik, and their mother was Anne Larsdatter Markegaard. They had two sisters, possibly named Guri and Kirsti. Any information greatly appreciated! Thanks.
