Hello, People;

My name is Lawrence Ervin and I’m trying to put together a family “narrative”.

I’ve been told there is a great uncle of ours, Thomas Henry Ervin, who was born in Decorah, Winneshiek County on or about April 1, 1874 or 1875. His parents names were Patrick and Johanna Ervin. Ervin is the way the family spells it’s name.The most common variations by some recorders are Ervine, Irwin, Irvin, Irvine. The family was Irish and practicing Catholics.
