I talked to my dad, who is Mabel's cousin. When Mabel died, grandma Mary Stutter Solum took care of Maxine while Lester Lindsay took his son with him. I don't know who the father of Maxine and nobody else doesn't either except his last name was Newman.
Here's what I found in Mundia.com. Mabel Solum was married to Lester James Lindsay 1902-1975 and the had a son Robert Lester Lindsay 1932-.? Here it is and I hope this will help. I am on Facebook if you want to look me up. My name on Facebook is Linda Solum Zander.
