Bridget Muldoon was my great-great-grandmother. Born in Ireland as Bridget Donahue, emigrated prior to 1860, married Felix Muldoon in Illinois in 1860. Moved to Bluffton Township between 1862 and 1865, farmed 80 acres about 1.5 miles SW of St Bridget's. Eight children, two married locally (Ann Muldoon married Martin Maley, Mary Muldoon married Edward Helgeson), the rest eventually moved to St Paul, Minnesota around 1900. Felix Muldoon remained in Bluffton, was living with daughter Ann's family in 1910. Don't think he was buried at St Bridget's but don't know for certain.
