SIMMONS

Franklin and Jeanette RANKIN SIMMONS moved to Frankville possibly around 1855 (two of their sons were born in IA so they may not have settled first in the Frankville area). Their sons: Franklin, William,& George were married in the Frankville/Postville area. Franklin died before 1880. His wife continued to live in the area for some time as noted in the 1880 Census. I would like to know if Jeanette RANKIN SIMMONS and her husband Franklin SIMMONS are buried in Frankville. Also I find no later mention of George SIMMONS, their son, so wonder if he also died in Frankville. Son, Franklin SIMMONS also lost a young wife, Matilda before 1889 before he married Josephine ROSE.
