Civil War veteran

I am looking for an ancestor that fought in the Civil War. His name is Andrew (Andres) Amonson. He was born in Norway in 1842 and joined the Union army in Oct of 1864. He died in Mar of 1865. I am looking for information on his company, where he fought, how he died and where he might be buried. If anyone has knowledge of the 13th Iowa Infantry, Company C to which he belonged, please send it along. If you know of other sources I can obtain or websites, that would also be appreciated.
