Svenning Olsen Digness Family

Svenning Olson Digness born abt. 1823 and Maren Sander born 15 Apr 1827 along with four of their children - Olava (Digness)Aaker, Charles Anton Digness, Bertha (Digness) Westrum, and Samuel Digness - immigrated from Norway, arriving in the US 5 Apr 1864. They then went to Cresco, Iowa. I found them in the 1870 and 1880 Orleans Township, Winneshiek County, Iowa census under the surnames Olson and Olesen.

While there, they had three more children - Martin S. Digness, Henry Digness, and Eddie Digness. They apparently lived in that area from about 1864 to about 1881 when they moved to the Hatton, Traill County, North Dakota area.

I'm searching for any information that can help support the birth dates of the children born in Iowa as well as the death date of Henry Digness. Unfortunately I don't know the exact area where they lived (except that it was in Orleans Township), nor the church which they attended. Hopefully someone out there will be able to help.
