Asle Knudsen from 1865 onward

Asle Knudsen, 1844-1939, emigrated in May, 1865, married Susan Fosse, 1842-1916, of Locust, in November of 1866 in Decorah and joined the Norwegian-Danish Methodist Church in Big Canoe/Locust. Over the years he was the Presiding Elder of several districts. He is mentioned in "Evangelisk Tidende" as well as "A History of The Norwegians of Illinois".
I am looking for any information during this time period, especially information related to his preaching career.
