My grandmother, Della Rose Phippen, was b: 23 Mar 1915 in Decora. I know that her g-grandfather died in Winneshiek Co., and is buried in Ridgeway Cem. (Amasa "Amasy" Phippen, b: 16 Dec 1827 Jefferson Co., NY, d: 22 Jul 1908 Winneshiek Co., IA). I also know that Amasa lived his last years in this county with his daughter, Diana Malinda Phippen Sears. Found this while I was doing a cemetery search to maybe see if there was a pic of his tombstone, and not one Phippen pulled up in the search. So, I thought that I'd register the name. Looking for descendants. Have more info on this family.
