Herman Lansing, Sr, passed away last week Thursday, death being due to mature age, having reached more than 84 years. The funeral services took place Saturday at 9:30 o’clock at the St Francis Catholic church, Rev. M. J. Thiltgen officiating.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born Nov. 1, 1830 and died Feb. 18, 1915.
