The remains of Mrs. Bernatz were brought here from Elma Saturday and interred in the Methodist cemetery. Mrs. Bernatz was a resident of this placer for a number of years, but of recent years made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Gross, at Elma.

Mr. and Mrs. L. Bernatz and son Louis attended the funeral of the former’s mother at Fort Atkinson Saturday.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows Mrs. Gross’ mother was Veronica Bernatz. She was born Dec. 21, 1822 and died Oct. 21, 1914. She is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery.
