Mr. and Mrs. E. O. Hokaasen were called to Ridgeway, Tuesday, by the death of Mr. Hokaasen’s brother, Ole Hokaasen.

Ole Hakoos died very suddenly Monday evening. No particulars.

Mr. and Mrs. Arne Haakos came up from Decorah Tuesday on account of the sudden death of Ole Haakos.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows Ole Hokaasen was born Oct. 3, 1847 and died Sept. 29, 1914. He is buried in Madison Lutheran Cemetery. The name is spelled several different ways but I think it is the same person considering the first name, date of death and location.
