OBITUARY.
Theodore J. Daniels, brother of George and Bert Daniels of Decorah, died on Wednesday of last week, March 18th, death resulting from a complication of diseases. Mr. Daniels was born April 30, 1872, in Frankville township, being a son of Mr. and Mrs. James Daniels, two of the oldest residents of the county. Beside engaging in farming he learned the painting trade from his father and engaged therein to a considerable extent. He was married Nov. 26, 1890. To Anna Kipp in Decorah. Four children were born to them, two of whom, with their mother, survive. They are Mrs. Rae Runkle and Nellie Daniels. Beside the brothers above mentioned he is also survived by the following brothers and sisters:--Abe Daniels of Missouri Valley, Frank Daniels of Gull Lake, Canada, Hiram Daniels of Ossian, Mrs. Lucy Runkle of Lakefield, Minn., and Mrs. Jane Townsend of Lucky Lake, Minn.

The funeral was held Sunday Mch.22, Rev. G. S. Lackland officiating, and interment was made in Centennial church cemetery near where Mr. Daniels has lived all his life. Many friends join in extending condolence to the relatives of the deceased.

Transcriber’s Note: His gravestone in the Centennial Cemetery shows his date of death as March 22, 1914 which does not agree with the above.
