Enders Hersrud, who came to America in 1861 and settled in Union Prairie township, Allamakee county, died Monday last at his home in Decorah, where he has resided since 1910. Mr. Hersrud was born in Ostre Toten, Norway, in September, 1839, hence was in his seventy-fifty year. He was married in 1867 to Helen Lovbraaten, who survives him. He is also survived by five of their eleven children The funeral will be held this morning, service at the home at 11 o’clock and at the Glenwood church at 1:30 o’clock.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he died Feb. 8, 1914. He is buried in the Glenwood Lutheran Cemetery.
