Death Takes Their Little Son.
Yesterday afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Yarwood of Calmar township were called upon to lay away the remains of their five years old son Melvin, who died Monday morning, the 6th, after a week’s illness from spinal meningitis. The funeral was held at the Union Prairie church at two o’clock, preceded with prayer at the home at one o’clock, and interment was made in Phelps cemetery in Decorah. Mr. and Mrs. Yarwood have the sympathy of many friends in their bereavement.
