Mrs. K. Anderson and Nels Steine, who were called here by the death of their sister Mrs. Baldani, returned Monday night to their homes, the former to Grafton, N. D. and the latter to Wenwell, Minn.

Buried Last Friday.
Mrs. Hildos Baldani, whose death occurred on the 30th, ult., at the home of her brother G. N. Steine, south of Decorah, was buried on Friday last, the funeral service being conducted by Rev. O. E. Schmidt at the United Lutheran church and interment made in the Norwegian cemetery. Mrs. Baldani’s maiden name was Ingrid Steine. She was a native of Valders, Norway, where she was born Sept. 29, 1864.{?} She came to America in 1887 and made her home a greater part of the time with her brother in this city. In 1907 she was married to Hildos Baldani, and the year following moved to Frand{?} Forks. Mrs. Baldani returned to Decorah last spring and has been ill from cancer of the stomach for several months. Beside her husband and a son of three years she is survived by two brothers and a sister residing in this country, Mrs. K. Anderson of Grafton, N. D., Nels Steine of Wendel Minn., and G. N. Steine of this city.

Transcriber’s Note: Her gravestone shows she was born Sept. 29 1863. It also shows she died Sept. 29, 1913 instead of the 30th as stated above.
