Sever J. Nelson, 77, died Tuesday night at the Winneshiek county home after being in failing health for sometime. Mr. Nelson had been living at the Commercial Hotel and was taken to the county home three weeks ago. He was born Dec. 8, 1866, in Allamakee county. He never married. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. from the Big Canoe church with Rev. Hexom in charge of the services. The Winneshiek Cooperative Burial Association is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
