Died in Kansas.
John Noble, who for forth-seven years was a resident on a farm near Conover, died last Saturday at the home of his brother James Noble at Bronson, Kas., aged 75 years. Mr. Noble was a bachelor and during much of his life lived with his brother. His first residence in Kansas covered a period of eight years. This was followed by two years in Decorah and he then returned to Kansas where he has since resided. The remains were brought to Decorah Tuesday and the funeral was held yesterday afternoon at two o’clock at the home of Mrs. R. J. Novotny, niece of the deceased. Rev. Wn. McVettie officiated and interment was made in Phelps cemetery.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born Aug. 1839 and died Sept. 27, 1913. He is buried in Phelps Cemetery.
