Death Claims Young Man.
Oscar Overacker, the oldest son of Mrs. Asa Overacker died Saturday after an illness of several months from tuberculosis. Oscar returned home early in the year and has made a brave fight for life but the disease had become so firmly fastened upon him that nothing he or physicians could do seemed to avail Ever since he was old enough to work he has been an industrious boy. His last employment was as a fireman on the Northern Pacific road last fall and winter. Exposure while overheated resulted in colds that subsequently terminated in the disease that caused his death. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at three o’clock at the home, Rev. M. Willett officiating and interment was made in Phelps cemetery.

Transcriber's Note: No record of his burial shows in Phelps Cemetery or Find a Grave.
