Sudden Death.
Word came to Decorah relatives Tuesday that Mrs. John Drexel had died that morning at Terryville, S. D. Mrs. Drexel’s maiden name was Mae Livingston and she was married to Mr. John Drexel on June 11th last. About two weeks ago she became ill at Merrill, Wis., where Mr. Drexel is employed in a bank and went home to her mother to recuperate. Her condition was not considered serious consequently the news of her death was a sudden and great shock. Mrs. Drexel was a niece of Dr. and Mrs. P. M. Jewell. Dr. M. D. Jewell and his sister Gladys departed Tuesday night for Terryville to attend the funeral.
