OBITUARY.
LAMBERT DRESSELHAUS.
Lambert Dresselhaus died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Dehning, in Pleasant township, May 29th. The funeral was held Monday, June 2d, at the Evangelical church in Pleasant township, Rev. Day of Cresco officiating, assisted by Rev. A. F. Damerow. Lambert Dresselhaus was born in Sehale, Germany, in 1834, and came to Chicago in 1851, remaining until 1856 when he came to Winneshiek county and settled on the farm where he lived until death. In 1856 he was married to Mary Frohreip of Pleasant township, who died some six years ago. Three daughters survive him,--Mrs. Catherina Anstett and Mrs. Anna Kleimenhagen of Preston and Mrs. Mary Dehning. Mr. Dresselhaus was a man of kind heart and was honored by all who knew him for his upright character.
