Death of a Young Woman.
Death entered the home of Mr. and Mrs. Peter C. Johnson on Sunday last, claiming their oldest child, Ella Theressa Johnson. Some two weeks before her death she became ill with measles and just when she was apparently on the road to recovery complications set in. The funeral was held yesterday at 1 o’clock from the home and 1:30 o’clock from the First Lutheran church, Rev. I. B. Torrison officiating, and interment was made in the Norwegian cemetery. The deceased was born in Union Prairie township, Allamakee county, April 3, 1892, and came to Decorah with her parents two years ago. Besides her parents she is survived by a brother and two sisters, who have the sincere sympathy of many friends both in the city and in their former home.

Transcriber’s Note: Her gravestone in Lutheran Decorah Cemetery shows she died May 19, 1913. Find a Grave shows her name as Ella Theresa.
