Sabbath evening Louis Flak, at the home of Tom Selnes, who had been suffering for months with rheumatism, was taken worse and died before the doctors and his sisters would arrive. His father was with him and all that medical skill and human kindness could do was done, but the deep hold of the disease so near the heart baffled all. After sending “good byes” to his siters Mamie and Gladys he passed away to suffer no more. The sympathy of the whole community have gone out to the mourning ones.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born in 1896 and is buried in the Hesper Lutheran Cemetery.
