Helmuth Meyer received a message last week that his father had died at Garnavillo. Helmuth and wife and daughters Viola and Amy and H. L. Meyer attended the funeral last Saturday.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Carl. He was born Oct. 4, 1832 and died Mar. 25, 1913. He is buried in then Garnavillo Community Cemetery.
