The remains of Miss Ora Belle Hurley were brought to this place on Saturday from Minneapolis, where she died at the hospital on Friday, April 19th. At the time of her death she was eighteen years and four months old. Ora Belle was born in Fort Atkinson, Iowa, where her childhood days were spent. Later she with her parents moved to Taopi, Minn., where they resided for a number of years and until recently they became residents of Annandale, Minn., where she would have soon graduated from the high school. Those left to survive are her mother and two sisters, her father having died on July 8th, 1911. The funeral services took place from the M. E. church Sunday at 2:30 p. m. and later the remains were interred in the Methodist cemetery. Those from out of town who were here in attendance at the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. E. Dowd and daughter of Ossian, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Young and children of Kendallville and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Leuenberger of Spillville.
