Mr. Landon received a call last week announcing the death of Chas. Avery Bent of Chicago. For thirty-two years he was vice president and treasurer of the Geo. P. Bent Piano Co. of that place. He was a son of Rev. Bent, who was pastor of the old Congregational church at Burr Oak in the sixties. He will be remembered by some of the older settlers as he was born in Burr Oak Oct. 10, 1860, and died April 8, 1912.
