Mrs. Ed. Harkness passed away at her home east of Mabel Saturday afternoon. Cancer of the liver was the cause of death. Funeral services will be held at Mabel this afternoon and interment will take place in the Hesper cemetery.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Lydia. She was born Sept. 13, 1855 and died March 11, 1911. She is buried in the Hesper Public Cemetery.
