Saturday afternoon at her home in Calmar, after many months of suffering, Mrs. Peter Meyer, Sr., passed away. She leaves eleven children to mourn her loss, John of Cresco, Mrs. Lipp, Mrs. Waumbacher and Mike of Dubuque; Mrs. Goite, Nick, Joseph, and Peter of Calmar, Jake of Salt Lake City, Louis of Fort Atkinson and Miss Margaret of Waterloo, all of whom were here to attend the funeral excepting Jake. The services were held in the Catholic church here on Tuesday and the remains were lahl{sic} to rest in the Fort Atkinson cemetery.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Barbara who was born Dec. 3, 1829 and died March 4, 1911. She is buried in St. John’s Cemetery.
