Sudden Death of Henry Broghammer.
Friends of Henry Broghammer of Hesper township were painfully surprised Sunday morning to learn of his death Saturday evening. We are without any of the particulars save that his death followed an illness of only three days. The funeral was held yesterday at the Catholic church in Decorah and was largely attended. By all who knew Mr. Broghammer he was held in high esteem. Never a man of demonstrative nature, by his solid worth he won a secure place in the friendship of his neighbors and he will be greatly missed in his home and surroundings.

The people of our community were greatly shocked to learn of the death of one of our best neighbors last Saturday evening, being that of Henry Broghammer. He was a kind, loving husband and father. He leaves a wife and ten children, an aged mother, four brothers and three sisters to mourn his loss. The bereaved ones certainly have the sincere sympathy of the community.
