J. L. Hamre, a retired farmer who has made his home in Decorah for some time passed away Monday night, aged 76 years.

Transcriber’s Note: Per Find a Grave the only Hamre who died in the Decorah area in 1911 is Ole H. who was born in 1832 and died Feb. 7, 1911. He is buried in the Lutheran Decorah Cemetery. The initials are different but the age is similar and the date of death is in the correct time period.
