Edgar Smith of Prosper passed away last Monday morning at eleven o’clock. He has been a great sufferer for some time with Bright’s disease. Funeral was held from the home Wednesday morning at ten o’clock and he was laid away to rest in the Burr Oak cemetery. He leaves a wife and children, and a mother to mourn his loss. The family have the sincere sympathy of this community.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Horace Edgar Smith. He was born Sept. 8, 1865 and died Jan 4, 1911 which does not agree with the above date of death.
