The community was shocked last Tuesday morning, Dec. 20th, when a telephone message brought the sad news that Mrs. H. Engray had died at her home on Union Prairie at an early hour. She has for a number of years suffered from asthma and heart failure which was the cause of her sudden death. She leaves besides her husband six children to mourn the loss of a kind and loving mother. Funeral services were held at the Glenwood church Saturday at 12 o’clock, Rev. S. A. Scarvie officiating. She was about 62 years of age. Their daughter was married the 15th, the Thursday before the mother died. It was a marriage and a death in one family inside of a week.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Asberg. She was born Nov. 30, 1842 and died Dec. 20, 1910. She is buried in Glenwood Lutheran Cemetery.
