Brought Home for Burial.
Death claimed two former residents of Decorah during the past week and their remains were brought here for burial.
On Monday at Minneapolis Fred Haaf youngest son of Martin Haaf of this city, died after an illness of five weeks from dropsy. For the past fifteen eyars the deceased has been residing in the mill city, being employed as a steam fitter in the Pillsbury mills. Beside his father he is survived by three brothers and four sisters, John and Joe of Minneapolis, Lou, who lives in Idaho, Miss Susan Haaf, Mrs. Rose Dinger and Mrs. Lena Glover of Decorah, and Mrs. Mary Milbach of Walker, Iowa. The remains were brought here yesterday for burial, the funeral being held at the Catholic church this morning at 9:30, with interment in the Catholic cemetery. Rev. Hawe officiated. Hubert and John Milback and Peter Sand of Walker, nephews of the deceased, were here to attend the funeral. Fred will be remembered by a large circle of friends as a genial, whole-souled young man and the sympathy of many friends is extended the bereaved ones.
