THE SILENT REAPER.
MRS. ANNA GRINNA.
On Wednesday of last week at her home on River street, Mrs. Anna Grinna passed away after an illness of several months. Mrs. Grinna’s maiden name was Anna Staie. She was born on June 23, 1841, at Red Wing, Minn., coming to Winneshiek county with her parents about thirty-five years ago, and has since resided in Decorah and vicinity. In 1888 she was married to Olaus E. Grinna, who died several years ago. Besides her mother, two sisters and a brother, she is survived by her daughter Eleanore and son Alexander. The funeral was held Saturday morning at the First Lutheran church, Rev. Torrison officiating.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows she was born July 23, 1968 and died September 21, 1910. (The date of birth does not agree with the above.) Her maiden name is spelled Staci. I believe this is the same person as she was married to Olaus and her maiden name is similar. She is buried in the Glenwood Lutheran Cemetery.
