Mrs. Frerich, a pioneer lady, died here last week. The funeral was held at Festina last Thursday. Mrs. Frerich leaves nine children to mourn her loss, Herman, Lizzie, Mrs. Holthous, Henry, Louis, Clemence, Katherine, (Mrs. Fred Sudtigle), William, Joseph, Emma, (Mrs. Frank Gehling).

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Katherine. She was born June 24, 1832 and died Aug. 8, 1910. She is buried in the St. Mary’s Cemetery.
