The remains of Mrs. John Pfister were brought from Flandreau, S. D., yesterday for burial, being accompanied by her daughter, Mrs. Richard Jaeger, and sons John and Fred Pfister. Richard Jaeger came in Tuesday to make the preliminary arrangements for burial. Mrs. Pfister was one of the early residents of Decorah, and is remembered by many acquaintances. She was born in Germany and had passed into her seventy-ninth year in January last.
