Items Taken from the Republican Under Date of July 16, 1885.
Mr. Fred Reum having occasion to go into the country, invited his wife and mother Mrs. Anna M. Reum to accompany him. In driving along north of town the seat upon which the ladies were seated tipped and they both fell out into the road. It was thought at first neither were badly hurt and they came home. Mrs. Anna Reum complained of not feeling well and laid down, and in ten minutes was dead.
