The remains of Miss Beatta Olson were brought to Decorah last Friday from Minneapolis for final interment. Olaus Olson, a brother, accompanied the remains, The deceased was ill for fourteen weeks, being taken first with measles, followed by typhoid fever and tuberculosis. She was twenty-three years of age.

Her gravestone in Lutheran Decorah Cemetery shows her name spelled Beata and that she was born Feb. 19, 1887. However, it shows she died July 5, 1909. That appears to be in error since this newspaper is dated July, 1910.
